Experience a high-quality stay in a Georgian house, run by Nicky and Phil on a friendly and informal basis.
Stewart House is a Grade 2 listed house built in the 1760s for one of Whitby's sea captains. It has recently been sympathetically restored, and to a standard that one might expect from a fine bed and breakfast. The 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms are all furnished with comfort in mind, and each bed has a pocket-sprung mattress. All rooms have free Wifi.
It is situated in a quiet square, yet within close proximity to Skinner Street, a street with many interesting and varied shops and tea-rooms. The centre of town is a few minutes walk away, as is the West Cliff promenade and Pavilion, with the sandy beach below.
Parking: we rent 1, often 2, parking spaces across the road for the exclusive use of our guests. If other spaces are required we can supply scratchcards for parking in nearby streets.
